Creative Director — Xoshel Media, for Coffee Hound Junction

The ask
A blank page. A family with a generations-old beef business was finally chasing a long-held dream and opening a coffee shop. They arrived with a name, a logo of their oldest family dog, and a custom truck ordered in turquoise and black. Everything past that was open. The harder problem was where they'd landed: Centerton, off the main roads, away from the traffic they needed.
The call
A shop nobody drives past has to be a decision, not an impulse — people had to want to go before they'd ever seen the place. So we built the whole thing to run ahead of opening day: a website, menus for the screen and the counter, and months of daily social content so the town knew them before the doors opened. We filmed the grand opening itself, and that footage became the commercial that carried their campaigns through the following year.

The result
They opened as a husband-and-wife pair with one helper. They now run a staff of four — and one of their own employees maintains the social channels, because we trained them to.
The commercial was scoped with a voiceover. We cut it. A new coffee shop wants to feel like a good morning, and upbeat music did that better than narration was going to.
Sarai took the campaign side once the files were done. We still advise from time to time, but the day-to-day is theirs now — one of their own employees runs the social channels, because we trained them to.
